    San Diego Auto Glass Repair

Wham! A sickening sound of something cracking brought me to my feet. It was windy outside, gusts punctuated by gasps of silence. The noise invaded that silence, and I walked quickly to the front door to look out. Was a window broken? I checked all of the downstairs windows and found them solid. I looked out the front window at my car. The "Wham!" became clear as I saw a tree branch laying across the front of my car.

I donned my jacket, pulled a black skull cap down over my fuzzy, uncombed hair and slipped into my sneakers before heading out the front door.

"DaCA, just what I need." I snarled to an empty front yard as I headed towards the driveway. I pulled it off my car. The branch wasn't a car totaling event. It didn't even dent my hood. Somehow it landed squarely on my windshield which now sported a medium, ugly crack. I sighed.

A gust whipped at the branch in my hand, and I threw it viciously into the middle of my yard. I remembered the conversation I had with my girlfriend who had experienced a similar disaster last year: "This San Diego auto glass repair place is the best. The company I found fixed it fast, and it didn't cost that much."

I trudged back inside, lamenting my bad luck. I intended to call my girlfriend and ask her about the San Diego auto glass repair shop she used and find out is she would recommend them as a good choice.

I told her all about the freak limb attack on my windshield and asked her what San Diego auto glass repair shop she used and what she thought of them.

My friend was helpful and put my mind at ease. She said damage in your driveway from a falling limb is probably covered by insurance although she said her repair was so inexpensive she didn't even bother filing an insurance claim. She did say that I should have the windshield looked at by a San Diego auto glass repair professional to determine if it could be repaired or if it needed to be replaced.

So I feel a little better about my chipped windshield. I hope I am hoping I have good luck with my repair like my friend did with hers. I am sure windshield repair is much cheaper than having a replacement so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

As it turns out, I had to have the windshield replaced because the crack was so deep it could not be safely repaired. I braced myself when I asked the San Diego auto glass repair technician how much it would cost. When he told me I couldn't believe it.

"I can charge you more if you want," the repairman joked. I laughed. I was just so relieved to find out this wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg.

I was pleasantly surprised once again when the service technician told me how quickly the job could be done. I felt really lucky that I had a girlfriend that recommended the best San Diego auto glass repair company. My experience with a cracked windshield was not going to be the catastrophe I had originally imagined.
